About this Instructor: I began working with glass when I was 20 years old, in the year 2000, and first started with private lessons at an alternative high school by the name of The Crefeld School. My desire to learn more about the material kept growing and I needed to find a way to keep learning, and my idea included to shoot for as cheap as possible. Well, the idea of attending college came to my mind, and that’s just what I did. First, I attended Salem Community College. There, I learned how to make glass on a torch, also known as lampworking. After a few semesters at Salem, I transferred to Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, where I learned more skills in working out of a furnace. I graduated with my B.F.A. from Tyler in 2005.

Since college, I have been producing my own designs in glass and selling wherever I can and whenever I can. Working with glass is one thing I can say is a true love of mine. I have been working for about ten years now, and I don’t see myself stopping.
