Bead Kiln
Carlisle
School of Glass Art is proud to use 2 Glasshive Bead Annealing Kilns
for annealing our students work.
Designed and built by and for Lampworkers
(Mike and Deb Crowley of South Beach, Oregon) these programmable kilns
do an excellent job for our crafters.
These kilns are built from high grade
aircraft aluminum with high temperature kiln brick construction. Fusing
and bead space is 6" X 18". It has a 4" tall by 20" long bead door on
the front (can be ordered with 2 doors for an additional $50.00) It
comes with a mandrel and glass warming rod rest, plus a stainless stay
cool handle.
Built with Fuji controller PXR3,
pre-programmed for your needs. It can hold 2 programs. 120 volts, 13
amps. Maximum temperature is 1700 degrees.
Large Kiln
This
is
our brand new Doug Ohm kiln, it is 4 feet tall by 6 feel long. You can
be assured that your creations will have plenty of space to "bake"
without being disturbed.
Wilt Kiln
Primarily Used for Stemware, Marbles and
larger boro pieces. Pictures coming soon.
