About this Instructor:James has spent years working in a variety of art forms;
painting, collage, assemblage and sculpture. Once he found Borosiliate Glass his search was over for his favorite art
form! His goal as an artist is to draw the viewer outside
their thoughts and bring them to a point of personal
reflection. He feels that technical precision is only
important in that once these techniques are mastered, an
artist can effortlessly convey a feeling or emotion. Thus
beauty and pure thought can pour out of each piece as
opposed to a mechanical technique.
Most of James' art objects are colored with 24 carat gold
and fine silver, which through the fuming process creates
whites, greens, blues, pinks and oranges in a halo effect to
the delight of all those who see and experience his art!
James Yaun (TC Glass Arts) displayed at Mountain Made
Gallery in Asheville, NC and at many art and bead shows all
across the US.
