About this Instructor:

Larry Brickman is a full-time glass artist whose work is represented throughout through out the United States and Internationally.  Born in Germany, he was raised around the world and as an adult experienced living and working in Scotland and Italy.  He has worked with jewelry since 1992 and has been focused on torchworking glass since 1996.  Prior to glass and jewelry he was a missile systems engineer in the submarine program for the US Navy.  He has also had commercial success as a fine artist in watercolors. 

Larry is the Torch/Equipment Manager for the conferences of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers and provides consultation to private and commercial torchworking studio setups and equipment procurement.  Larry has been featured in national magazines and demonstrated torchworking at international conferences.  Larry has instructed torchworked glass classes to over 1400 students.  His classes are taught extensively through nationally known art schools and glass companies throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy and Germany.
